Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational technology company. It develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services.
Micrsoft helped America grow during the dotCom bubble era. It was one of the reasons in 1998, and a couple of years thereafter, the United States posted its first budget surplus since 1969.
Microsoft produces operating systems for both clients (laptops, desktops) and servers ("Windows" products), a popular database engine ("SQL Server"), a productivity suite ("Office"), a popular web server ("IIS"), an email server ("Exchange"), a development environment and their associated languages ("Visual Basic", "C#", "C++", "ASP.NET"), and a collaboration suite ("SharePoint"). They are also venturing into the cloud arena, known as "Azure", where you can spin up servers on a whim and pay by the CPU, RAM, disk space, and the network usage these machines consume instead of a fixed price.
These technologies are in high demand, and so are the technicians who know how to implement and configure these products. The jobs you can get usually pay reasonably well, but you need to choose the path that suites you best.
We can help you to acheive your goals if one of these technologies interests you. Contact us to find out about the courses we offer.
